Today is part 3 of 6 in our summer long superhero summer reading adventure series!
Weekly, I share activities based on a super read-aloud title. This is the perfect project if you are looking for hands-on ideas to do with the kids that are connected to great books. The suggestions will fit perfectly with those who will also be participating in a local library reading program with the same theme.
Check back each Friday for a new book and list of activities that you can do with your kids this summer. The ideas will work great for the 3-8 year-old age group.

Yes, you can create a duck call! Grab a straw and scissors. Then, head over to All For The Boys for the directions.
Duck Phonics Reading
We had so much fun using a little duck prop to practice reading words left to right. We even created a free printable for you to use. My son loved reading the rhyming words. It’s such a fun way to practice decoding!
Keep with the duck theme and read more books about ducks. Line Upon Line Learning shares a list of books to check out.
