Eleanor Coerr wrote many books during her lifetime. She was born in Canada and lived in various places including Nevada.
Her books included Sadako, Josefina Story Quilt, Buffalo Bill and the Pony Express. She even wrote a book about Nevada called S is for Silver: A Nevada Alphabet.
