Our world needs more kindness. Our kids are never too young to learn about kindness and helping others. It’s one of the main reasons I wrote the book, Read, Create & Share this year. I wanted my kids to infuse kindness throughout the year and not just as the holidays.
In this week of Thanksgiving, I want to help spread kindness to you, my wonderful Growing Book by Book reader and the children in your life.
I’m giving away a class set of If You Plant a Seed by Kadir Nelson. Each student in a classroom of your choice will receive a copy of the book to take home.
If You Plant a Seed reminds all of us that spreading kindness has great rewards. The illustrations are warm, vibrant and inviting.
Each family of the winning classroom will also get a digital copy of my book, Read, Create & Share. It’s filled with 12 books to share, 12 projects to create, and 12 sharing opportunities to last the whole year.
Just enter below!
And, if you would like more kindness ideas revolving around literacy, please check out these wonderful posts.
Books About Kindness from What Do We Do All Day?
Kindness Calendar from Coffee Cups and Crayons
Kindness Elves from The Imagination Tree
Ready to enter to win a class set of If You Plant a Seed by Kadir Nelson and a class set of the digital copy of Read, Create & Share by Jodie Rodriguez?
