Editorial Reviews

Review

“A humorously exaggerated tale of a child who gets hold of super-indelible, never-come-off-until-you're-dead colored markers. Fun!”

(Emergency Librarian)

“[The] illustrations ... are irresistibly brilliant.”

(Hamilton Spectator)

Great Book but SUPER SMALL SIZE

Great Book but SUPER SMALL SIZE
Five stars for the actual content of the book, but I DEFINITELY should have checked the reviews prior to buying this copy. Didn't even think to check if this was a regular sized book so when it showed up palm-sized I was a bit confused. It's still legible and could work in a pinch but I will be returning this only because I really wanted a bigger version in order to really see and enjoy all the wonderful illustrations!

1.0 out of 5 stars I was like one of those duped parents in Munsch's tales
Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2016
Apparently, this has been an issue since at least 2009, but Amazon hasn't updated the description to identify the fact that this is a TINY VERSION of the book.

The story is hilarious, but I was expecting the regular-sized paperpack. The look on my face when I pulled it out of the package was probably hilarious, too. I was like one of those duped parents in Munsch's tales. Classic surprise.

Buyer beware, the dimensions are listed in the product details. Now I know to look in the future.

Enjoy the story, you're going to love it so much, one day when this is funnier, I'll be glad to have a pocket-sized version ;)
