When I Was Little: A Four Year Old’s Memoir of Her Youth by Jamie Lee Curtis is a funny tale about a little girl who recounts her life up until the ripe old age of four.

Can you think of 26 reasons that you like yourself?  Grab some inspiration in ABC I Like Me by Nancy Carlson.

Bodies are Cool by Tyeler Feder and published celebrates bodies of all shapes, sizes, colors, and features. We are all unique and we are all COOL. This book deserves a spot on every bookshelf in homes, counselor offices, doctor’s offices, and classrooms.

I Like Me by Nancy Carlson has been a classic “All About Me” title in preschool classrooms for over two decades.

The Skin You Live In by Michael Tyler showcases all the wonderful things we do no matter the color of our skin. We all have skin and it comes in some pretty amazing colors.

I Am Enough by Grace Byers has to be the most gorgeously illustrated book on this list. The first page starts, “Like the sun. I’m here to shine.” Each of us is unique.  We all have something to share. Let’s all shine.

Having high self-esteem and feeling good about yourself is the message that is delivered in I Like Myselfby Karen Beaumont.

Another classic book is All By Myself by Aliki. The story celebrates all the new things we learn as we grow from babies and toddlers into older kids.
