Family Service Project
Dominic is a very kind and giving fellow. He seems to help everyone he meets along his daily journeys.
Challenge your family to be kind to whoever they meet during the day of your family dinner to discuss the book. It might be holding a door for someone going into a store, picking up a dropped pencil for someone, or playing with a lonely child. At dinner, discuss the kind deeds that each person performed throughout the day.
Talk about the reaction they received from the individuals after the acts of kindness. How did each person performing the deed feel?
