Fire Prevention Week is in October each year. The beginning of the school year is also a time of working on basic counting and number writing in many early childhood settings. I’ve combined both of those things into a free fire station printable book for you!
Fire Station Printable Book
Directions and Tips
1.Little hands like to work in big spaces so this book uses full 8.5 x 11 sheets. You can print these two-sided to conserve paper. If you choose to do print double-sided, have the kids use crayons instead of markers when coloring. Staple the pages or use our favorite masking tape binding.
2. On each page, have the kids count the number of objects and write that number on the blank line. The last page includes five flames for the kids to practice writing the numbers 1-5 one more time. You can write the numbers with a highlighter and have the kids trace them.
3. Young readers can use the picture prompts to read their book over and over again.
4. Kids can also build fine motor skills by coloring the pictures on each page.
5. Finally, use the topic of the book to talk about fire safety.

This looks awesome, but the download link seems to be broken? Or is it just my computer? Thanks!

Hi Jessica, I just checked again and it is working. It has had thousands of downloads. Click on “click here for free…” Then, scroll down just a bit to the picture of the fire station book and click on the green “download” button. Hope that works.

Ya that’s how I had to do it. To me it just looks like you can download it without having to go to another page, especially when the word DOWNLOAD is right under the book. Thanks
