Games and toys that make the perfect gifts for kids. They are all based on books kids love.

Does your child have a favorite book?  Are you looking for a gift idea for a certain little one?  Grab a toy or game based on the books they love.  Here are some that caught our eye.

Molly Idle has some amazing books such as Flora and Peacocks, Flora and the Flamingo, and Flora and the Penguin.  Now kids can play with Flora and Friends Matching Game.

Pull this colorful Elmeraround after reading some great Elmer books.

Does your little one adore all the Pete the Cat books?  Grab a plush Pete the Cat made by Merry Makers and pair it with my favorite Pete the Cat book- Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons. You can also find loads of other book inspired plush dolls from your favorite books.

Little ones will love to scoot around on their very own The Very Hungry Caterpillar Ride ‘n’ Roll Caterpillar Ride On.  They can zoom around and pretend they are eating their way through the leaves.

For kids who love to sing, they can now sing along to book inspired songs with Emily Arrow’s cd- Storytime Singalong.  It’s probably my favorite thing on this list.

So, this one isn’t a toy or game but, you could easily play with a toy or game in your new comfy book inspired PJs.  So many adorable choices.  Two of my favorites are the Elephant & Piggie Pajamas and Dragons Love Tacos Pajamas.

Hold a tea party with this Madeline Tea Party Set.  Of course, every tea party begins with a reading of Madeline too.

Press Here Game pairs well with the interactive Press Here book Tullet.  It’s a game to develop logic and works for the whole family.

Recreate scenes with magnetic playing pieces in the Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site Magnetic Characters set.  Or, build fine motor skills with the Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site Lacing Cards.

Retell Peter Rabbit with these Beatrix Potter puzzles.  Putting puzzles together are great for building fine motor skills.

Now that you have some gift ideas, you need some literacy stocking stuffers.  Check out these stocking stuffer ideas.
