A free printable of comic book pages for kids to make their own comic book.

Do you have a child who loves comics or graphic novels?  I’m raising my hand.  Or, do you have a child who’s first love is NOT writing?  If so, then this writing idea and template, is for you.  My 5 year-old loves to make books.  He typically makes one a day.  Though his writing skills aren’t a match for his faster moving thoughts, he loves to tell stories through pictures.  So, we created these comic book templates for him to do lots of book making.

Design your own comic book with these free templates for creating a comic book. Perfect for kids who want to create their own superheroes.

There are seven different design sheets that can be arranged in any order.

There is also a front cover and an about the author page.

Print them and put your book together.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATES

Bind your book with staples or tape.

Now, you are ready to be an author and illustrator.

Show kids how to use speech bubbles and thought bubbles when writing comic books.

Show your child how to draw speech bubbles and thought bubbles.  This is a great way to get your child to add text that doesn’t overwhelm the writer.

These templates look great, but the PDF is password protected. THis makes it impossible to do anything other than print them. I was hoping to import them into indesign, set them up as a booklet, then print, fold and saddle stitch like a real comic.

Yes, the file is not able to be edited. It is meant to print and use.

My grandson is really getting into drawing some of his favorite characters. He is going to love this. Tank you so much for creating and sharing.
