The New Year is a time for setting goals and making resolutions.  It’s a great time to start new habits.  And what better habit to start than to read more great books with kids!  I know that I want to create a family of bookworms. This reading challenge can help.

Here is the Merriam-Webster definition of a bookworm.
noun
a person who likes to read books and who spends a lot of time reading

Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Creating a bookworm starts one day at a time.  Join me as I challenge my family to find new places to enjoy great books in January.  We are calling it #GrowingBookworms.

Create a family that loves to read. This January we are growing bookworms with this reading challenge. Discover new places to read with kids.

On Instagram each day in January, I will be sharing a picture of my family reading in a different spot.  I want you to read along in fun spots and take pictures too.  It’s super easy to do.

  1.  Make sure you are following me on Instagram.  CLICK HERE TO FOLLOW
  2.  Post your picture each day and use this hashtag- #GrowingBookworms

Are you ready?  Let’s take a look at all the places we can read.  Use these suggestions as creative prompts.

Take the Growing Bookworms Reading challenge with us this winter. A great way to get families reading.
