Materials: Printables (see below), scissors, blue play dough, laminator
Print, cut, and laminate the printables.
Place a chunk of blue play dough in the cloud.
Students name the letters and sound. They can form play dough snakes to create the letters.
Then, pinch raindrops off the “cloud,” roll into a raindrop and make it rain on the correct umbrellas that have the targeted letter.
These are great mats for use in a center or to send home for independent practice.
