Crack the Pinata Literacy Activity

Skill: phonological awareness
Materials: printable (see below)
Preparation: Print and cut the set of printables.

Read a clue on a pinata card and see if students can guess the ”surprise” word. Continue with clues until the students guess the correct word. The number of clues they need is the number of ”hits” to crack the pinata. The winning guess gets the pinata card. Continue until all cards are completed.

Make a Wish on a Star

Think of a wish you would like to make on a star. Write or draw about your wish on the printable provided below.
