Drive to the Destination Activity
Skill: alphabet recognition
Getting Ready:
Print the alphabet roads. Laminate for durability if desired.
Grab a toy car and place it on the road. Call out a letter and have the child drive to the letter. Continue calling out letters and let the drive continue. You could also have a student start on one letter that you name and then drive to another letter.
Car Line-Up Activity

Getting Ready:
Print the alphabet cars and cut along the lines. Laminate for durability if desired.
The cards can be used as flashcard practice or could be placed in alphabetical order.
The cards could also be scattered on the floor. Use a toy car to drive to different letters similar to the Drive to the Destination activity.
