#1 Books to Give for Graduation

Need a good graduation gift idea? Here are books to give the graduate for any age graduation!

By far the most popular book list of mine also happened to be published this year.  I’m so excited because it really is one of my favorites.   Books to Books to Give for Graduation are full of inspiration and will be kept for years to come. You will want to pin it to remember for next spring.

#2 Redirecting and Promoting Good Behavior

Books for kids that will help redirect and promote good behavior.

The Redirecting and Promoting Good Behavior book list makes it into the top 5 every year.  Look for a sequel list in 2016.

#3 Mentor Texts to Teach Writing

Great mentor texts to use for for modeled writing.

Another list that appears each year is Mentor Texts to Teach Writing.  This is a great list to use with kids when you are teaching how to be a great writer.  The most powerful tool we have for teaching writing is using text from authors.  These are my favorite titles to use and I tell you how I use them.

#4  Books for Kids Ages 2-3

books for kids ages 2-3 from growingbookbybook.com

I have lots of book lists divided by age.  But, the most popular one is Books for Kids Ages 2-3.   My absolute favorite book from the list is Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson.

#5 Favorite New Books for Preschoolers

Our favorite books of the year for preschoolers! Check out the newest books for kids in this fun book list.

Another new book list from 2015 that made it into the top 5 is Favorite New Books for Preschoolers.  I love to discover new books and this list was a blast to put together.   I’ll also be sharing a new list for 2016.

Most Ordered Books by Growing Book by Book Readers

The other fun thing to look at is to see which books Growing Book by Book readers are purchasing.  I took a look at my Amazon analytics and discovered that these were the top 5 books purchased in 2015.

#1 Only One You

This was the most popular book on our Graduation list, but it’s a great book for any child any time of the year.

#2 1000 Stickers

I’ve recommended this book over and over again because I’ve used in to make countless literacy activities such as….

#3 Rhyming Dust Bunnies

This is one of our favorite books.  Check out these dust bunny puppets we made too.

#4 Kisses for Daddy

This is a sweet book that we shared our Father’s Day Book Giving Tradition post.  I LOVE doing this each year.

#5 Why Should I Listen?

This title is from our Redirecting and Promoting Good Behavior list.  It’s a common challenge I think many of us have!

P.S. For more great book recommendations and  literacy ideas, we send out a weekly newsletter. You can see a sample here.  If you like what you see, sign up to receive it for FREE each week.
